Summer 2022: Group Exhibitions in Philadelphia

This summer I am honored to be included in three group exhibitions in Philadelphia.

The Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA) is hosting an exhibition at their Rittenhouse Square gallery for work made at Art in the Open 2022. I will have four plein air oil paintings on view: Bridges Over The Schuylkill, Trees on the Trail, I Love You 2day 4ever, and It’s (Muddy) Water Under The Bridge.

• Opening Reception is Thursday, June 9th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

• Exhibition for public viewing runs from June 9th - June 24th.

Off The Wall Gallery at Dirty Frank’s in Center City, Philadelphia has included my oil painting The Kitchen @ 1220 for their summer group show REEMERGE.

The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts is hosting their Continuing Education Annual Juried Student Show. PAFA faculty member Jill Rupinski is the juror for the show.

• Opening Reception is Thursday, June 23rd from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

• The show takes place in PAFA's Anne Bryan Gallery and runs from June 23rd - July 17th.

June 2021: SUMMERHOUSE Group Show with HOT•BED in Center City, Philadelphia

I am thrilled to be included in HOT•BED’s summer-themed group exhibition SUMMERHOUSE at their Center City gallery.

I have two works in the show: Lunar New Ya and In The Shadow of the Japanese Bridge, Hoi An. The reception is on Saturday June 19th from 6 - 9 PM. You can book your appointment for the reception or exhibition in general HERE.

May 2021: Digital Exhibition Covid Masterpieces 3 with La Fenice Gallery Hong Kong

I have three paintings included in the digital gallery La Fenice Hong Kong’s digital exhibition Covid Era Masterpieces 3. La Fenice primarily shows women artists, but allow men for some exhibitions as well.

My included works are Self-Portrait with Guston Cig (pictured below on the flyer for the show), Tell Me I’m Pretty (Aloe Mask), and Noon ‘til Dusk. The exhibition is up on La Fenice’s website from May 27 - 26 June 2021.

April 2021: Summer Artist Residency in the Canary Islands

I was accepted as an artist in residence at AiR Guiniguada for the summer of 2021. I will be residing near Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from July 18 to August 1. I am honored and excited to work in an international artistic community!

First Philadelphia Group Show: Exploring the Human Figure

My paintings Rainy Day, Staying Dry (2019) and The Fool (2020) have been selected for the group show Exploring the Human Figure. The show was curated by JERKS Productions and is on display at 2424 Studios in Philadelphia, PA. It runs from October 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021.
